Riu Hotels & Resorts in Jamaica

Bloody Bay Beach:

A heavenly beach of fine, white sand with turquoise waters. This is where the two RIU hotels in the area are located: the Clubhotel Riu Negril and the Hotel Riu Tropical Bay. Protected from the strong currents by a reef, Bloody Bay is perfect for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing or water skiing. Unlike the neighbouring beaches, it is very quiet and you will rarely see it full.

The nearby reef is home to colorful tropical fish, in what seems like an invitation to put on your diving goggles and explore. The Riu hotels will provide you with all the material necessary for discovering this wonderful bay.

Seven Mile Beach:

An extremely long beach with very calm waters, perfect for bathing and all kinds of water sports. The beach is extremely lively, as it is lined with numerous bars and restaurants. It runs along the majority of Long Bay, a few minutes south of Bloody Bay.

Mammee Bay Beach:

Beach with fine sand, transparent waters and palm trees that go down nearly as far as the sea. Everything you could wish for from a Caribbean beach. The ClubHotel Riu Ocho Rios is in this calm bay, set on the beach front.

In the hotel you can hire water scooters or canoes for discovering the surrounding area. There is also diving and snorkelling equipment available, so that you can explore the nearby seabed, rich in tropical fish.

Laughing Waters Beach:

A small waterfall empties out amidst lush vegetation on this heavenly beach which is just 1 km from Mammee Bay. Several scenes from "Dr. No", one of the films about the famous secret agent James Bond, were filmed here.

Reggae Beach:

Deliziosa spiaggia poco frequentata, di sabbia dorata e acque trasparenti, molto famosa tra gli abitanti della zona. Rilassatevi all'ombra di uno dei tanti mandorli e godete la bella atmosfera che regna in questo luogo.

Mahoe Beacy Beach:

Protected by a reef, this beach is perfect for swimming and practising water sports such as sailing or windsurfing. Since this is one of the most exclusive parts of the north coast of Jamaica, the beach is fairly quiet and never overcrowded.

The Riu Montego Bay hotel is situated in front of the beach in a privileged position.
